Terms and Conditions

1. Reservation & Confirmation
All bookings should be made directly with FJK Myanmar Travels & Tours office in Yangon, Myanmar. Email to fjk.myanmar@gmail.com. Our Yangon Office is only entitled to offer the price and confirm the reservations.

 

2. Tour Price
All tour prices are quoted as net price in US$. Tour price does not include airport departure tax, meals not listed, optional tours and personal spending money.

 

3. Gratuities and Tipping
Myanmar peoples are genuinely happy to help foreign visitors and don’t expect anything in return. But if your guide or any other person during your trip was especially kind or helpful, a gratuity would be a generous gesture and greatly appreciated.

 

4. Deposit and Final Payment
Deposit which will be variable upon the services of the clients take is required to pay to confirm your tour booking. This payment should be sent by telegraphic transfer to the Bank.

The balance amount should be paid on arrival. It should be in US $ 100 denominations issued in or after 1996 with no torn edges or corners. The serial number heading must not be CB (CB xxxxx —) notes. That’s what our private changers demand and which we must comply. No credit cards and no traveler’s check can be used in Myanmar since July 2003. No cell phone of yours can be used here too.

 

5. Charges and Cancellation

• (45-36) days prior to confirm arrival date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount will be imposed.
• (35-16) days prior to confirm arrival date, a cancellation fee of 75% of the total amount will be imposed.
• (16- or lee) days prior to confirmed arrival date, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total amount will be imposed.

 

6. Discount
Every 16th member of a group will be given complimentary subject to a maximum limit of one member.

 

7. Refund
After commencement of travel, no refund either in full or part will be given for unutilized services included in the program which are not utilized by the clients.

 

8. Unused Services
No refunds can be given for unused or partially used services during the tour program.

 

9. Responsibility
FJK Myanmar Travel & Tours act as the agent for the person in regard to travel by any mean of transportation and assume no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the person including those occurring outside the touring programs. Therefore, FJK Myanmar Travel & Tours will accept no responsibilities for losses or additional expenses due to accident, delay, sickness, weather, strike or other cause beyond its control. Participation in the tour implies the person’s agreement to the above conditions. FJK Myanmar Travel & Tours also reserve the right to modify or reverse the original program in the interest of the clients. It may substitute flights with train or coach service when deemed necessary due to circumstance. However FJK Myanmar Travel & Tours will endeavour to keep to the original program and arrangements as agreed upon.
