Day 01: Yangon Arrival

Arrive Yangon by evening flight. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel, Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, Yangon sightseeing starts from Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, walk into the Great Cave (man – made cave), which was built to hold sixth synod of Buddhist monks in order to revise the Buddhist scriptures. Proceed to Law Ka Chantha Abaya Labha Muni Buddha Image being curved from a Superlative Monolithic marble stone measure over 37 feet high, nearly 24 feet wide and 12 feet thick weighting 500 tons – the largest of its kind in Myanmar history. Afternoon sightseeing commences from Chaukhtat Kyi (six – story) Pagoda, houses the fourth largest reclining Buddha in Myanmar. Of particular interest are the soles of the Buddha inscribed with 108 sacred symbols. Then proceed to Kandawgyi (Royal Lake). Take photo of Glittering Shwedagon Pagoda from the opposite bank across Royal Lake. Also take photo of Karaweik (Royal Barge) from the Baganlone Island. Next visit to gold encrusted Shwedagon Pagoda. On platform are 64 smaller pagodas with four large ones right in the center of the four cardinal points. Watch the sunset at Glorious Shwedagon Pagoda. Then visit China Town to get an amazing experience by walking through the china town. Stay overnight at hotel, Yangon.

Day 03: Yangon – Mandalay – Monywa Sightseeing

After breakfast, transfer to airport for Mandalay by morning flight. Proceed to Monywa (85 miles, 136 km). Monywa sightseeing includes Shwe Gu Ni Paya, one of the most important pilgrimage spots in Upper Myanmar and also famous for its wish – fulfilling powers, lacquer – ware work shop at Kyaukkar village, Thanboddhay Pagoda, unique for its more than 580,000 Buddha images covering every wall and archway, Bodditataung Pagoda (1000 Buddhas), a grove of banyan trees each with a Buddha at its foot, 90 m long Reclining Buddha, with a very small (and free) museum on the inside containing 9000 Buddha images, Laykyun Setkyar, the world biggest standing Buddha image, Alantayar Pagoda, which is good for sunset. Stay overnight at hotel, Monywa.

Day 04: Monywa – Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park

Transfer to jetty for Nyaung Bin Gyi village. Proceed to Alaungdaw Kathapa (56 miles, 90 km) by jeep. It can travel by jeep because the road is not good. Driving Hour is about 8 hours. Stay overnight at the camp.

Day 05: Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park

After breakfast, you can ride the elephant to the forest and trek around the National park. Back to Monywa as coming route. Stay overnight at hotel in Monywa.

Day 06: Monywa – Mandalay – Yangon

After breakfast, drive to Mandalay and sightseeing includes 200 – year – old U Pein teak bridge, built in 1782 spanning the Taung Tha Man Lake, Manhamuni Pagoda, home to Mandalay’s holiest Buddha statue, 12.5ft high – seated image, which is heavily overlaid with gold, workshops of tapestries and silk weaving, Shwenandaw Kyaung <Golden Palace Monastery> noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda to see large Buddha statue, carved out of a single marble block and Kuthodaw Pagoda, to study the world’s biggest book in – scripted on the marble slabs and Mandalay Hill. Transfer to the airport for departure to Yangon. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 07: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure by morning flight.
